2.DisengagethePTO,engagetheparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Usingthemower-deckhandle,raisethemowerdeck
andmovethecotterpinstothedesiredheight-of-cut
position.Repeatfortheoppositeside.

EmptyingtheHopper
Afullhopperisindicatedbyabuzzerlocatedbehindthe
operatorinthehopper.Emptythehopperwhenthebuzzer
soundstopreventcloggingoftheblowerorthemowerdeck.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethespeedcontroltoneutral,
settheparkbrakeanddismountthemachinetodump
hopper.
2.Makesuremachineisonadrylevelsurface.
3.Liftthereardoorupandallowittorestontopof
hopper.
4.Usingthehandlesatthelowerfrontofthehopper,
raisethehoppertodumpthecontents.
5.Lowerthehopperandclosethehopperdoor.
ClearingtheHopperScreen
Removethescreenbyrmlyliftingthescreenhandles(Figure
25).
Pullthescreentowardsthebacktoremoveit.Asneeded,
gentlytapthescreentoremovedebris.
Note:Excessivebuild-uponthescreencancausetheblower
toplug.
Note:Inconditionswherethescreenclogsquickly,thefront
removablescreenpanelcanbeturnedandreinstalledunder
theprimaryscreentoallowfreeairowfromthehopper.
