Youcanreleasethecushionforrearaccesstothemachinefor
maintenanceoradjustment.
1.Lowertheplatform.
2.Loosenthetwistknobsoneachsideofthemachine
(Figure33).

3.Removethecushionandlowerittotheplatform.
4.Performanymaintenanceoradjustmentonthe
machine.
5.Raisethecushion,andslideitontothepinsonboth
sidesofthemachine.
6.Tightenthetwistknobs.
Lubrication
GreasewithNo.2lithiumormolybdenumgrease.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.
Note:Makesuretoscrapeanypaintoffthefrontof
thetting(s).
4.Connectagreaseguntothetting.
5.Pumpgreaseintothettingsuntilgreasebeginsto
oozeoutofthebearings.
6.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.
