NEUTRAL,andthenmovethemtotheLOCKEDposition,
disengagethepowertakeoff(blade-controlswitch(PTO),
andturnthekeyintheignitionswitchtotheOFFposition.
Settheparkingbrakewhenyouleavethemachine;referto
AdjustingtheParkingBrake(page48).Removethekeyfrom
theignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethemachinewhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.

UsingtheTransportLock
Thetransportlockhas2positions,andisusedwiththe
deck-liftpedal.ThereisaLOCKpositionandanUNLOCK
positionfortheTRANSPORTpositionofthemowerdeck
(Figure26).
