ServicingtheSparkPlugs
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Checkandgapthe
sparkplugs.
Makesurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingthesparkplug.Use
asparkplugwrenchforremovingandinstallingthespark
plug(s)andagappingtool/feelergaugetocheckandadjust
theairgap.Installanewsparkplug(s)ifnecessary.
Type:NGKBPR4ESorequivalent
AirGap:0.76mm(0.030inch)
RemovingtheSparkPlug
1.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Removethelefthydraulic-unitshroudintheorder
listedinFigure51.
Note:Thisgivesyouaccesstothefrontsparkplug.
