andtightenthenutfully.
17.Removethejackstands.

Thewheelshouldnotspinfreely(morethan1or2
revolutions)orhaveanysideplay.Ifthewheelspins
freely,adjustthetorqueonspacernutuntilthereisa
slightamountofdrag.Applythread-lockingadhesive.

RemovingtheFilters
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Pushdowntoreleasetheretainingclampsontheair
cleaner,andpulltheair-cleanercoverofftheair-cleaner
body(Figure45).
4.Cleantheinsideoftheair-cleanercoverwith
compressedair.
5.Gentlyslidetheprimarylteroutoftheair-cleaner
body(Figure45).Avoidknockingthelterintothe
sideofthebody.
6.Removethesecondarylteronlyifyouintendto
replaceit.
Important:Neverattempttocleanthesecondary
lter.Ifthesecondarylterisdirty,thenthe
primarylterisdamagedandyoushouldreplace

7.Inspecttheprimarylterfordamagebylookinginto
