1.Positionthemachineonaatsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Checkthetirepressureofthedrivetires.Ifneeded,
adjustthepressureto90kPa(13psi)
5.Positionthemowertothe76mm(3inch)height-of-cut
position.
LevelingtheDeck
1.Positionthemoweronaatsurface.
2.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,remove
thekey,andengageparkingbrake.
3.Checkthetirepressureinthedrivetiresandadjustif
necessary.
Note:Properinationpressurefortiresis90kPa
(13psi).
4.Positionthetransportlockinthelatchingposition.
5.Pushthedeck-liftpedalallthewayforwardandthe
deckwilllatchatthe14cm(5–1/2inch)TRANSPORT
position(Figure87).
