enoughtoallowthefrontwheelstoturnfreely.
3.Removethecasterwheelfromthecasterforks.

5.Removeoneofthespacernutsfromthe
axleassemblyinthecasterwheel.Notethat
thread-lockingadhesivehasbeenappliedto
lockthespacernutstotheaxle.Removethe
axle(withtheotherspacernutstillassembledto
it)fromthewheelassembly.
6.Pryoutseals,andinspectthebearingsforwear
ordamageandreplacethemifnecessary.
7.Packthebearingswithageneral-purpose
grease.
8.Insertonebearing,onenewsealintothewheel.
Note:Thesealsmustbereplaced.
9.Iftheaxleassemblyhashadbothspacer
nutsremoved(orbrokenloose),applya
thread-lockingadhesivetoonespacernutand
threaditontotheaxlewiththewrenchats
facingoutward.Donotthreadthespacernut
allthewayontotheendoftheaxle.Leave
approximately3mm(1/8inch)fromtheouter
surfaceofthespacernuttotheendoftheaxle
insidethenut.
10.Inserttheassemblednutandaxleintothewheel
onthesideofthewheelwiththenewsealand
bearing.
11.Withtheopenendofthewheelfacingup,ll
theareainsidethewheelaroundtheaxlefullof
general-purposegrease.
12.Insertthesecondbearingandanewsealinto
thewheel.
13.Applyathread-lockingadhesivetothe2nd
spacernutandthreaditontotheaxlewiththe
wrenchatsfacingoutward.
