casterwheel.Thewheelshouldnotspinfreely
(morethan1or2revolutions)orhaveanyside
play.Ifthewheelspinsfreely,adjustthetorqueon
spacernutuntilthereisaslightamountofdrag.

RemovingtheFilters
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheneutral-lockedpositionandsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Pushdowntoreleasetheretainingclampson
theaircleanerandpulltheaircleanercoveroff
oftheair-cleanerbody(Figure49).
4.Cleantheinsideoftheaircleanercoverwith
compressedair.
5.Gentlyslidetheprimarylteroutoftheair
cleanerbody(Figure49).Avoidknockingthe
lterintothesideofthebody.
6.Removethesecondarylteronlyifyouintend
toreplaceit.
Important:Neverattempttocleanthe
secondarylter.Ifthesecondarylteris
dirty,thentheprimarylterisdamagedand
youshouldreplacebothlters.
7.Inspecttheprimarylterfordamagebylooking
intothelterwhileshiningabrightlightonthe
outsideofthelter.Holesinthelterwillappear
asbrightspots.Ifthelterisdamageddiscardit.
