CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthe
hydraulicoillevel.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheneutral-lockedpositionandsetthe
parkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
4.Allowtheengineandthehydraulicsystemto
coolfor10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickwillbe
incorrectiftheoilischeckedwhenthemachine
ishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthe
hydraulic-systemreservoirs(Figure87).
7.Removeonedipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure87).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickinto
thereservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure
87).Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowly
pouronlyenoughoilintothehydraulicreservoir
toraisetheleveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulic
unitswithoilasdamagemayoccur.Donot
runthemachinewiththeoilbelowtheadd
mark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.
