50” Mower Deck Spindle Installation
1. As necessary, apply grease to all three mower deck
spindles.
2. Position the spindle assembly onto the top side of
the mower deck (pulley side facing up) (Fig. 779).

tioned so that it is facing toward the front
of the mower deck. This will allow for easier
greasing of the spindles.

3. Install 4 screws securing the spindle assembly to the
mower deck (Fig 780).
Note: The screws are installed from the bottom side
of the mower deck.

4. Slide mower deck blade onto the spindle shaft (Fig.
781). Ensure the center of the blade is seated onto
machined star end of the spindle shaft.
Note: Make sure the blade sails face the deck.
