3. Plug the wire harness into the engine harness (Fig.

Engine Installation
1. Attach chains/straps and a hoist to the lift points on
the engine. Lower the engine into place on the frame
(Fig. 404).
Note: Take care to ensure the throttle and choke
cables are not caught between the engine and
the frame.

2. Slide the positive wire onto the starter post. Install a
nut securing the positive wire to the starter assembly
(Fig. 405).
