dumpleverupandmovetheleverforwardto
closethehopper(Figure26).

4.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
5.Tilttheseatforward.
6.Unlatchthegrasschute(Figure27).

IfthehoppersensoractivatesandthePTO
automaticallydisengageswhenthehopperisnotfull
orifthechuteclogsbeforethesensoractivates,you
needtoadjustthesensorposition.
Adjustthesensorasfollows:
1.Openthehopperdoor.
2.Adjustthehoppersensorbasedonthefollowing:
Fornormalgrassandweatherconditions,
rotatethesensortothemid-pointposition
(Figure28).
Forwet,densegrassconditions,when
pickingupleaves,orifthehopperllsbefore
thesensoractivates,rotatethesensor
downward(Figure28).
Fordry,sparsegrassconditions,orifthe
mowerdeckdisengagesbeforethehopper
lls,rotatethesensorupward(Figure28).
