2.DisengagethePTO,lowerthemowerdeck,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Rotatethesteeringwheelsothattherear
wheelsarestraightahead.
5.Measurethecenter-to-centerdistanceatwheel
hubheight,infrontandinbackofthereartires.
Note:Therearwheelsshouldnottoe-inor
toe-outwhentheyarealignedcorrectly.
6.Ifthewheelstoe-inortoe-out,alignthewheels;
refertoAdjustingtheRearWheelToe-In(page
61).

1.Loosenthejamnutsatbothendsoftheleftand
righttierods.
2.Adjustbothtierodsuntilcenter-to-center
distanceatfrontandbackofrearwheelsisthe
same(Figure83).
3.Whenrearwheelsareadjustedcorrectly,tighten
jamnutsagainsttierods.
