thatthequick-attachpinsarefullyseatedinthe
mountplate.

Ifyoudonotfullyseatthequick-attach
pinsthroughtheattachmentmountplate,
theattachmentcouldfalloffthemachine,
crushingyouorbystanders.
Ensurethatthequick-attachpinsarefully
seatedintheattachmentmountplate.
ConnectingtheHydraulicHoses
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjected
intotheskinmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliarwith
thisformofinjury;otherwise,gangrenemay
result.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrom
pinholeleaksornozzlesthateject
high-pressurehydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks;neveruseyourhands.
CAUTION
Hydrauliccouplers,hydrauliclines/valves,
andhydraulicuidmaybehot.Ifyoucontact
hotcomponents,youmaybeburned.
Weargloveswhenoperatingthehydraulic
couplers.
Allowthemachinetocoolbeforetouching
hydrauliccomponents.
Donottouchhydraulicuidspills.
Iftheattachmentrequireshydraulicsforoperation,
connectthehydraulichosesasfollows:
1.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
2.Removetheprotectivecoversfromthehydraulic
connectorsonthemachine.
3.Ensurethatallforeignmatteriscleanedfrom
thehydraulicconnectors.
4.Pushtheattachmentfemaleconnectorontothe
maleconnectoronthemachine.
5.Pushtheattachmentmaleconnectorintothe
femaleconnectoronthemachine.
6.Conrmthattheconnectionissecurebypulling
onthehoses.
RemovinganAttachment
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Lowertheattachmenttotheground.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Raisethequick-attachpinsbyrotatingthelevers
outward.
5.Iftheattachmentuseshydraulics,slidethe
collarsbackonthehydrauliccouplersand
disconnectthem.
Important:Connecttheattachmenthoses
togethertopreventhydraulicsystem
contaminationduringstorage.
CAUTION
Hydrauliccouplers,hydraulic
lines/valves,andhydraulicuidmaybe
hot.Ifyoucontacthotcomponents,you
maybeburned.
Weargloveswhenoperatingthe
hydrauliccouplers.
Allowthemachinetocoolbefore
touchinghydrauliccomponents.
Donottouchhydraulicuidspills.
6.Installtheprotectivecoversontothehydraulic
couplersonthemachine.
7.Starttheengine,tiltthemountplateforward,and
backthemachineawayfromtheattachment.

engineandadjuststhemaximumtractionspeed
whilemaintainingtheenginespeedsothatyoucan
optimizeperformanceinpoweredattachments.For
example,whenusingthetrencherattachment,Smart
Powerreducesthetractionspeedsothatyouhave
maximum,continuouspowerwhiledigging.
Engagetheattachmenthydraulicsandslowlymove
thetractioncontroltoactivateSmartPower.
Note:T ousethisfunction,ensurethatSmart
PowerissettoONintheSettingssectionofthe
InfoCenter;refertoInfoCenterDisplay(page14).For
someapplications,suchasdiggingandgrading,the
