tension.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Openthehood.
4.Apply30N(22in-lb)offorcetothealternator
belt,midwaybetweenthepulleys(Figure76).

completethefollowingproceduretotensionthe
belt:
A.Loosentheboltsecuringthealternatorto
theengineandtheboltsecuringthebrace
tothealternator.
B.Insertaprybarbetweenthealternatorand
engine,andpryoutatthealternator.
C.Whenyouobtainthepropertension,tighten
thealternatorandbraceboltstosecurethe
adjustment.

machine.However,aftermanyhoursofuse,you
mayneedtoadjustthetractioncontrolalignment,
theNEUTRALpositionofthetractioncontrol,andthe
trackingofthetractioncontrolinthefullforward
position.
