If the Error Indicator Lamp (red) is flashing on your Toshiba Barcode Reader, it could indicate several issues: 1. The media has run out, so install a new media roll. 2. The Media Sensor cannot detect the print start position, so retry the Media Sensor calibration. 3. A paper jam occurred. 4. The ribbon has run out, so install a new ribbon roll. 5. The ribbon has been torn, so check the status of the ribbon and replace it if necessary. 6. A cutter jam occurred. After resolving these potential problems, press the FEED/PAUSE Button to return to the Online state.
