APPENDIX D: WIRING EXTERNAL OUTPUT RELAYS
OUTPUTS
The outputs can be wired thru an external relay(s) (not included) to switch on/off inductive loads.
There are two ways to drive the external relay(s):
1. Using internal power supply from TI-1680
2. Using an external power supply (not included)
If you are using the internal power supply, then your relay must be able to operate with 5VDC.
Internal Power Supply
NOTE: The CATCHDIODE connection is not required when using a solid state relay(s).
