General Information
Tyre Pressure Warning Light
The tyre pressure warning light
works in conjunction with the tyre
pressure monitoring system (see
page 24).
The warning light will only illuminate when
the front or rear tyre pressure is below the
recommended pressure. It will not illuminate
if the tyre is over inflated.
When the warning light is illuminated, the
TPMS symbol indicating which is the deflated
tyre and its pressure will automatically be
visible in the display area.

The tyre pressure at which the warning light
illuminates is temperature compensated to
20°C but the numeric pressure display
associated with it is not (see page 10 9 ). Even
if the numeric display seems at or close to the
standard tyre pressure when the warning
light is on, a low tyre pressure is indicated
and a puncture is the most likely cause.

Warning
Stop the motorcycle if the tyre pressure
warning light illuminates. Do not ride the
motorcycle until the tyres have been
checked and the tyre pressures are at their
recommended pressure when cold.
