Once you have done this click on the ‘Port Data’ button to edit the Ports data
configuration.
Ensure that the ‘Device Type’ in the ‘Gen. Info’ tab is set to COMPUTER. See Figure
8.

Also ensure that the ‘Address’ setting is ‘Off’ in the ‘Port Options’ tab. See Figure 9.

This should complete the 2120/RS232 Interface Card configuration.
The next step is to program your panels and verify the configuration is satisfactory. On
completion use the report utility in the programmer to generate a ‘Card Detail’ report.
This report can then be imported into XL Maintenance to automatically add all of the
panel’s devices to XLG C/S.
3.2.2.1. DOS based Programmer
For a DOS programmer simply generate a text file report.
