5.12. Staircase wave
Click the “Staircase” button for the staircase wave. At this time, you can set the parameters for the
staircase wave. For the adjustment methods, see the explanations in the “Sine wave” section.
6. Short Circuit Finder Mode
One of the unique features of the UCE-DSO4200C is its ability to find the location of the short circuit. It is
useful in finding short circuits in defective electronic boards. The menu is accessed by clicking the “SHORT
CIRCUIT” icon in the “Main Menu”. Its general view is as in Figure 12.

The menu is quite simple. In the middle of the screen there is an animation simulating the distance to the
short circuit. There are 2 buttons at the bottom right. With the “EXIT” button, you return to the main
menu.
