5. Signal Generator
The UCE-DSO4200C has a single channel, 20 MHz (-3dB) signal source and provides great convenience for
users who need to use the signal source and the oscilloscope (or curve tracer) simultaneously. Click the
“SIGNAL GENERATOR” icon in the “Main Menu” to enter the signal generator menu. Its general view is as
in Figure 11.

At the top left of the screen is the image of the waveform. In the upper right, parameter settings of the
waveform are made. At the bottom, there are 16 buttons for waveform selection.
When returning to the main menu with the “EXIT” button in the lower right corner of the screen, the
setting parameters are saved in the memory (dds_settings.cfg).
Different waveforms have different frequency ranges.
Sine: 1 mHz 20Mhz
Square, triangle, full wave, half wave, gauss: 1mHz 5Mhz
Sawtooth, sinC, noise, exponential, staircase: 1mHz 1Mhz
DC: no frequency parameter.
