There are protection and detection circuits on both inputs of the device against high voltage measurement.
The device gives a warning when high voltage is detected in any of the channels during the measurement.
In this case, the measurement must be terminated immediately. Then the warning screen is touched to
continue normal operation (Figure 10).
High voltage detection can occur in three different ways.
• Capacitor measurement with charge over 24V
• Voltage source measurement over 24V
Long-term measurements can damage the device.
