126 Making calls with multiple lines
Making calls in an executive-secretary team
An executive-secretary team is configured by the relevant administrator and
may include up to four executive and up to two secretary telephones.
Sample scenarios
This example assumes that two executive and two secretary phones are config-
ured. Calls for the executives are forwarded immediately to the respective sec-
retary phone. A secretary then connects the call with or without consultation to
the responsible executive using the direct station selection key.
Prerequisites:
The following call forwards are configured (ïƒ Page 54 ):
• For All calls from Executive 1 to Secretary 1
• For All calls from Executive 2 to Secretary 2
•Forward on
Busy and forward on No reply from Secretary 1 to Secretary 2
•Forward on
Busy and forward on No reply from Secretary 2 to Secretary 1
"Allow call waiting" should be activated on the secretaries’ phones (ïƒ Page 89).
This function can optionally be activated and deactivated using a key if a key has
been configured for it.
Line and direct station selection keys have been configured by administrator and
"Transfer on hangup" and server features have been activated.
