7.Nowgraspthesteeringlineonbothsidesof
thetoggleandpullittight,ensuringthehookand
loopfastenersideofthetogglefacesthecanopy.
Thesteeringlinedoesafigure
8throughthe
grommetandexitsontheothersideofthe
toggle.Onceagain,checkthemarkonthe
steeringline,ensuringitisstillinthecorrect
place.
8.Tieanoverhandknotinthefreeendofthe
steeringlineandtightenitrightdowntothe
toggle.Ensureitissnugfornow.
9.Checkthecanopywiththedeploymentbrakes
setandwithbothnotsettobesurethatitis
correctlyconfigured.Thereservecanopy
owner’smanualcontainsthecorrectbrake
settingsandsteeringlinelengths.Keepinmind
thatthereare
NOstandardizeddimensions.
Therefore,unlessthelinesarethecorrect
length,thecanopymaynotopenorflycorrectly
10.Verifythatthebrakesettingmeasurementsarecorrect.Tightentheoverhandknotatthetoggleoncemore.Itis
generallynotagoodideatocutofftheexcesssteering
line,asyoumaywanttoadjustthesteeringtogglesafterthe
canopyhasbeenjumped.
11.Repeattheprocedurefortheothertoggle.
12.Inspecttheinstallation.Ensureproperroutingofthesteeringlines.

Afterthemaincanopy
hasbeenproperlyattachedtotherisersandwhileitisstilllyingonitsside,attachthetogglesto
itbyfollowingthesesteps:
1.Startingatthetailofthecanopy,tracethe
uppersteeringlinesdowntothelowersteering
line.Theideaistobesure
thesteeringlinesare
routedcorrectly;theyshouldnotwraparound
anysuspensionlines.Theright‐handsteering
linemustpassthroughtheright‐hand rearslider
grommet,andtheleft‐handlinemustpass
throughtheleft‐handrearslidergrommet.
Thisoverhandknotmustbetight.
