12.3. Load test with motor
Before proceedings to test, check all of the parts, wiring and motor connections visu-
ally, to see that they are correct.
Connect the main cables, the motor cables and the earth connections.
Switch on the AC supply.
Select an application and set the correct parameters (e.g. motor). Do not set a too
high value for the current limit P2.1.5, a too short time for acceleration time P2.1.3 or
a too short time for deceleration time P2.1.4.
Run the motor without a load between the minimum and maximum frequency, and
measure the output current with a current clamp. Compare the current clamp values
to unit's monitoring value V1.4.
Load the motor to the nominal value, if possible, and compare the current clamp value
to unit's monitoring value V1.4.
Check that the fan operates normally and follow the unit temperature from the moni-
toring page V1.9.
