8.4. Important instructions for various service situations
Review each procedure and section in advance. This chapter and its subchapters con-
tains important information, which must be applied in service situations.
Local and national laws and regulations, concerning the service work to be per-
formed, must be followed.
Vacon Plc. cannot be held responsible for personal injuries or material damage,
which may occur when local or national laws concerning service work have not been
followed.
All plastic covers must be reinstalled on AC Drives before switching on the power
supply.
8.4.1. Personal requirements
Personnel performing service work must have qualifications that are in accordance with
the local and national laws.

Mechanical surfaces, which display a warning 'hot surface' sticker, must not be
touched. Make sure the working environment is safe, and there is nothing that will
cause any risk of personal injury.
