tured using original Texas A/D-converter on alternatively using Maxim A/D-con-
verter.
• When there is a Texas A/D-converter mounted, the exact board type is VB00661A1
and when Maxim converter is mounted, the type is VB00661A2.
• New software revision NXP00002V167.VCN is updated to be able to support both
Maxim and Texas A/D-converter chips.
Compatibility:
• Software NXP00002V167.VCN can be used with all revisions of NXP control boards.
• With board VB0061A1 there is possible to use system software NXP0002V148.VCN
or newer.
• With board Vb00661A2 the revision NXP00002V167.VCN or newer has to be used.
When using NCLoad version 1.0.17, there will be indication if not compatible soft-
ware is tried to be downloaded into VB00661A2. Using older loader revision there
doesn’t exist any warning but Vacon unit doesn’t go into ready state after software
downloading.

Changes in system software:
• Romania added into language packet “East Europe”.
• Added new language packet “East Europe II” including languages English, German,
French and Turkish.
• Decreased the gain value of overvoltage controller of unit sizes FR9 and bigger.
• When function “load parameters up to panel” was used and unit had special applica-
tion having high number of parameters or plenty of option boards, the uploading
was failing sometimes. Corrected.
• Some tuning and improvements for PM-monitor, AFE and BCU applications.
Changes in applications:
• Multipurpose: Parameter set change did not work when command was given right
after run status. Corrected.
• PID, Multipurpose and PFC: Pt100 sensor can be connected now also alternatively
only to Pt100 input # 3 or to inputs # 2 & 3. Parameter ID739 (Number of Pt100
inputs in use) has 2 new setting alternatives which are 4 = Pt100 sensors con-
nected to sensor inputs # 2 & 3 and 5 = sensor(s) connected only to input # 3.
• NXP multipurpose APFIFF06: Preset speed input did override the fieldbus reference
when selected control panel was fieldbus. Changed so that input has no influence
when fieldbus control active.
