Appendix 3.2 Data at rest and in transit
The digital video monitor uses system memory to store information about scope, process, and network
configuration. The memory file system cannot be accessed directly from the GUI, and the file system is divided
by permissions, and the GUI can only access a fixed storage path, and the images and videos in the storage
path can be exported to the PACS server and/or USB storage devices.log file can exported to USB storage
devices.

Images and videos can be transferred to a PACS server. The following formats and protocols are used during
the transfer from the displaying unit to the PACS server:
When the image or video is transmitted to PACS, the system automatically converts the stored image file into
dcm format for transmission, and automatically deletes the dcm file after the transmission is completed
