Intrinsically safe wiring shall be installed in accordance
with Article 504-20 of the latest National Electrical Code
(NFPA 70).
WARNING:
Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
Circuitry within the Console barrier forms an intrinsically
safe, energy-limited system. This system makes probes
and sensors safe for use in a Class I, Group D hazardous
location. Probe and sensor wiring is intrinsically safe
only when connected to Veeder-Root's Consoles,
reference Form Numbers 8485.
