2.79.2.12 Attendant Call (CAS)
Description
When you place an Attendant call (dial “0”) from a station in any networked system, the call may
be routed to a Centralized Attendant. The local System Attendant activates Attendant DND,
which routes local Attendant calls to the Central Attendant. The Centralized Attendant must have
a {Net DSS} button for the remote Attendant to receive the calls.
Operation
Local Attendant iPECS IP or LDP Phone
To assign [ATD DND] button:
[TRANS/PGM] + {Flex Button} + [TRANS/PGM] + “83” + [HOLD/SAVE]
To route local Attendant calls to the Central Attendants:
1. Press the {ATD DND} button.
Centralized Attendant iPECS IP or LDP Phone
To answer a remote Attendant call:
1. Answer the call as normal, the {NET DSS} button for the remote Attendant flashes.
Conditions
1. Only DID/DISA calls which are assigned to route only to the Attendant destination are
routed to the Centralized Attendant.
2. The Centralized Attendant can be assigned as a Main Attendant in a networked
system. Also, CO lines may be assigned to ring the Centralized Attendant.
3. A System Attendant cannot be assigned a {NET DSS} button and thus should not be a
Centralized Attendant.
