2.5.2 Selecting an Installation Site
The installation site must meet the following conditions:
• Ambient temperature—The ambient temperature should be between 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).
• Environmental conditions
•No vibration
• Negligible dust
• Non-corrosive atmosphere
•low humidity
• Space requirements
• no required access on either side of the device
2.6 Mount the Liebert MBSM on a Wall
The Liebert MBSM can be wall-mounted, using factory-hangers shown in Figure 3. Attach the
Liebert MBSM to wall studs or other features that can bear its weight. The unit weighs almost 125
lb. (56kg).
WARNING
If the area where the Liebert MBSM will be installed contains more than 6.6 gal. (25 liters) of
inflammable liquids, refer to HD 384.4.42 S1 A2, Chapter 42 (corresponds to DIN VDE 0100,
Part 420), the area must be contained so that burning liquids or their combustion products
could not spread through the building.
