An internal check of the cones is carried out in the following way:
Remove the pin.
Open the guards around the machine's cutterbar.
Remove the top cover on the cone.
Clean any dirt from inside the cone.
Fit the top cover on the cone.
Close the guards around the machine's cutterbar.
Fit the pin.
