Adjusting the ground
pressure
The machine's ground pressure is checked in the following way:
> Remove the pin.
> Open the guards around the machine's cutterbar.
> Lift the machine's cutting unit in the bracket as shown.

The recommended weight should be approx. 50-60 kg (110-130 lb).
• If the machine is not stable when running, the ground pressure is
too low.
• If the machine drags and hangs behind at an angle when running,
the ground pressure is too high.
• If lower ground pressure is required, the distance shown must be
reduced.
• If higher ground pressure is required, the distance shown must be
increased.
> Close the guards around the machine's cutterbar.
> Fit the pin.
