Working in the field
Check the surrounding area before starting to use the machine
Before driving and using the machine the surrounding area should be
checked.
This prevents persons and animals in the vicinity from being harmed.
If the surrounding area is not checked it can lead to serious injuries on
persons or animals.
Keep away from the machine
No unauthorised persons should be close to the machine when active.
This will ensure that no dangerous situations can arise.
Persons close to the machine during operation are at risk of being
severely injured.
The machine is operated in the following way:
> Check that the lock catch is in the position shown.
> Activate the tractor's hydraulic system and allow the hydraulic
cylinder to release the machine's cutting lock.
> Pull in the cord and release the lock catch.
> Hold in the string and activate the tractor's hydraulics and lower the
machine down to the transport position.
> Check that all guards on the machine are correctly positioned.
> Connect the tractor's PTO outlet.
> Carefully increase the speed on the tractor's P.T.O. shaft to 540
RPM.

> Find a suitable speed on the tractor and start to mow.
> Activate the tractor's hydraulics, raise the cutting unit up and turn
at the headland.
