When set, this mode causes transmitted data to be echoed back to the screen within the
terminal.
When reset no local echo will occur.
ANSl/VT-52 Mode, Ps = 2 (Private)

When reset, this mode causes, the VISUAL 100 to respond VT-52 Mode Control Sequences
as defined in Section 5.3.1.
Cursor Key Mode, Ps = 1 (Private)
Set Mode Sequence: ESC [ ? 1 h
Reset Mode Sequence: ESC [ ? 1 Q
This mode is applicable only when the terminal is in ANSI and Alternate Keypad mode.
When set, this mode causes the cursor positioning keys to generate special escape sequences
per Table 4-1.
When reset, the cursor position keys will transmit their normal ANSI mode sequences per
Table 4-1.
Characters Per Line Mode, Ps = 3 (Private)

When set, this mode conditions the terminal for 132 column display.
When reset, the terminal will use 80 column display.

When set, this mode conditions the termin,al for smooth scroll as defined in Section 3.2.2.6.
When reset, the terminal is conditioned for jump scroll as defined in Section 3.2.2.6.
