2.26.1 GENERAL
The UPS (Uninterruptible Power Source) option assures that the machine will unload the PCB’s
which are inside the machine when the mains power is interrupted.
2.26.2 WORKING PRINCIPLES
The motors of the conveyor, the optional outfeed conveyor and the 24 VDC control voltage are
supplied by the UPS.
After an interruption of the mains supply the machine goes into the EMPTY mode which means:
• The input of the machine will be blocked if the option Blocking Device or SMEMA is present.
• The conveyor keeps running, with the last selected speed, until all PCB’s are unloaded from
the machine.
• The optional, by the machine driven, outfeed conveyor keeps running as long as the conveyor
is running.
• After the machine is empty all conveyors will stop and the machine remains in an idle mode
until the mains has returned and the Power Failure alarm has been reset on the PC console.
