2.28 GRIPPER ADJUSTMENT
2.28.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
To adjust the gripper correctly we have two methods.
3. PCB - method.
When only a SelectWave is in the machine, we use the PCB for adjusting the gripper.
4. Coldplate - method.
When the mySelective is equipped with a MultiWave, a Coldplate is part of the delivery.
This plate is multifunctional:
1. It can be used as a calibration tool for correcting the nozzles on the MultiWave plate
Note: only in cold situation with MultiWave plate removed from solderpot.
2. For gripper adjustments.
3. Teaching of fluxer program.
In the next paragraphs both methods are described.
2.28.2 TOOLS
For adjusting the gripper we need:
•Screwdriver
• Allen key nr. 4
• 8 mm open ended spanner
• Standard for gripper (optional, partnumber 79739B)

Its also possible to adjust the gripper when it is mounted in the machine. However for easier
adjustment we advise to use this standard.
