Avoid use in the direct vicinity of:
- strongmagneticorelectromagneticelds
- transmitting antennas or high-frequency generators.
Failure to do so may falsify readings.
If you have a reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it
immediately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Safe operation is no longer
guaranteed when:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works and
- the device was stored for a long period of time under adverse conditions or
- the device has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
Never switch on the multimeter immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm en-
vironment. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Leave the device turned off
until it has reached room temperature.
Do not leave packaging material unattended, as children could use it as a toy creating hazard-
ous situations.
Observe all other safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.
