Couple a trailer
1 Position the tractor and trailer on a level, even
surface.
2 Make sure the trailer cannot roll.
3 Unlock the fifth wheel.
4 Make sure the trailer's slide plate is 20–50 mm
lower than the truck's fifth wheel. See the
illustration on the right.
5 Reverse the truck.
6 Make sure the fifth wheel is properly locked, and
to check, jerk the truck forward just once.
7 Fold up the support legs.
8 Connect the air and electricity supplies.
