8 Check the sealing ring on the breather plug. If the
sealing ring is damaged, replace it. Refit the
breather plug and tighten it to 13 Nm.
9 After filling oil, drive with an approx. speed of
50 km/h. Engage
the retarder 5 times in position 2 for about 5
seconds each time. Most suitably done in
connection with road test.
Oil change
Oil change volume:
5.4 litres.
Oil change is best done immediately after driving
when the oil is hot and
has lower viscosity.
Use oil according to “Oil recommendations”
The vehicle must be standing horizontally.
Warning!
The retarder must be disengaged
when changing oil. Hot oil can
otherwise be forced
out of the retarder and cause burn
injuries. Wear protective gloves.
