3.3.3 SWITCHING BETWEEN FLEX/FINE
The ‘flex’ and ‘fine’ setting options on the underside
of the Kobold EBB100 Electric Brush can be used to
adjust the device in line with the cleaning require-
ments.
We generally recommend the ‘flex’ setting for
normal everyday vacuuming. We recommend the
‘fine’ setting for a particularly intensive clean (e.g.
for vacuuming fine dust from crevices or carpets).
Flex setting Your electric brush is pre-set
to the ‘flex’ setting for everyday
vacuuming.
Fine setting You can adjust the electric brush
specifically for vacuuming fine
dirt from joints and cracks.
On the ‘fine’ setting, you will
achieve maximum dust collec-
tion, e.g. from a wooden floor
with lots of joints or from a car-
pet.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to the rotating brush!
• Always disconnect the Kobold EBB100 Electric
Brush from the Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum
Cleaner before changing the setting on the
underside of the Kobold EBB100 Electric Brush.
You can change between the settings as follows:
1. Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner off at the
main switch.
2. Push the slider
on the underside of the elec-
tric brush to position
(fine) for removing fine
dust from crevices or for deep-cleaning carpets,
or to position
(flex) for picking up coarse ma-
terial.
You will feel the slider locking into place and the
front sealing lip extends outwards.
