5.3 MAINTAINING THE KOBOLD
EBB100 ELECTRIC BRUSH
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
• Always switch the device off before all retrofit-
ting, cleaning and maintenance work and dis-
connect the Kobold EBB100 Electric Brush from
the Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from pinching your fingers!
• Keep clear of movable elements of the acces-
sory heads.
• Always switch the device off before all retrofit-
ting, cleaning and maintenance work.

Disconnect the Kobold EBB100 Electric Brush
from the Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
before performing retrofitting, cleaning or main
-
tenance work on the Kobold EBB100 Electric
Brush.
5.3.1 CHECKING AND CLEANING
UNDERSIDE
1. Check the underside every once in a while to pre-
vent damage to the device and floor.
2. Perform visual inspections from time to time in
order to detect defects or very dirty areas.
3. Remove any dirt. Remove any hair or fibres that
are coiled around the small rollers at the front
and check that the rollers rotate freely.
ROLLER BRUSHES
1. If threads are coiled around the roller brushes,
these can simply be cut with a pair of scissors
and removed.
2. If a substantial amount of material is coiled
around the brushes, remove the brushes (see
chapter “5.3.2 Changing the roller brushes” on
page 42) before clearing away the threads.
