INSERTING THE BATTERY
To insert the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the cordless vacuum cleaner from
the AC charger.
2. Open the filter cover as described in chapter
“Opening the filter cover” on page 34.
3. Push the battery pack from underneath into the
open cordless vacuum cleaner until you hear it
engage. When doing so, ensure that the battery
pack is the right way up. The metal connections
should point upwards and the green handle
downwards.
4. Never use force when inserting the battery.
5. Put the filter cover back on (with the motor pro-
tection filter and premium filter bag installed)
and ensure that it is properly closed.
Every battery has a limited life, as it will
slowly but steadily lose its capacity to hold a
charge. The cleaning times per battery charge can
therefore decrease over time with frequent use.
