5.2.2 CLEANING AND/OR REPLACING THE
MOTOR PROTECTION FILTER ON THE
KOBOLD VB100 CORDLESS VACUUM
CLEANER
The motor protection filter serves to protect your
cordless vacuum cleaner
from contaminants.
To ensure the long service life of your cordless
vacuum cleaner, it is important to carry out visual
checks and regular maintenance on the motor pro-
tection filter.
The motor protection filter can be cleaned as
many times as necessary. It must only be replaced
if the premium filter bag has been damaged or if
the motor protection filter is extremely dirty or
gummed up.
NOTICE
Risk of damage from improper use!
• Use the Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
only with the motor protection filter inserted.
REMOVING AND INSERTING THE MOTOR
PROTECTION FILTER
The motor protection filter
is held in place by two
guide slots
on the filter cover.
1. Hold both sides of the motor protection filter
and carefully lift it upwards and out of its guide
slots.
2. To put it back in, slide the new or cleaned motor
protection filter back into the guide slots. The
green plastic grid should be pointing towards the
premium filter bag.
