5.2.3 REPLACING THE BATTERY PACK ON THE
KOBOLD VB100 CORDLESS VACUUM
CLEANER
The integrated lithium-ion batteries contain sub-
stances that could endanger the environment.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to battery leakage!
Leaking battery packs must not come into contact
with the eyes and mucous membranes.
•
Wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clean
water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
NOTICE
Risk of damage from improper use!
• Ensure that the battery pack cannot come into
contact with strong magnets or metal under
any circumstances.

REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
To remove the battery pack, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum
Cleaner off at the main switch.
2. Disconnect the cordless vacuum cleaner from
the AC charger.
3. Open the filter cover as described in chapter
“Opening the filter cover” on page 34.
4. Reach inside the cordless vacuum cleaner, take
hold of the battery pack by the green strap
and pull downwards to remove it.
