Fault Possible cause and rectification
The electric brush is not vacuuming
properly.
The suction duct of the electric brush may be blocked.
• Open the inspection flap
on the underside of the
electric brush.
• Remove the blockage.
• If necessary, use an appropriate object to do this
(e.g. screwdriver, crochet needle).
• Put the inspection flap
back on.
The Kobold electric brush switches
itself off and the LEDs flash red.
A vacuumed object may be blocking the brushes of
the electric brush.
• Switch off the cordless vacuum cleaner.
• Disconnect the electric brush from the cordless
vacuum cleaner.
• Remove the object.
Threads may be blocking the brushes of the electric
brush.
• Cut the threads and remove them as described in
chapter “Roller brushes” on page41.
The carpet may be too dense.
• Briefly lift up the electric brush from the carpet and
place it down on a hard floor.
• Change to ‘Brush off’ mode on the electric brush as
described in chapter “Setting the brush mode” on
page25 and move onto the carpet that is to be
cleaned.
• Alternatively, switch the cordless vacuum cleaner to
the ‘soft’ setting and continue vacuuming the carpet.
