Input counter start value
The entry of a counter value is possible from the system version Advanced.
There are two options for generating start values for print images that contain a counter
field. On the one hand, the start value, entered in the print image, can be accepted, and
on the other hand, the start value can be entered at the control unit. The setting of the
start value input /-acceptance is done in idesign. To do this, make the desired setting in
idesign under Functions \ System settings \ Advanced Settings \ Counter start value in
the drop-down menu. To adopt the start value, select "From text" from the print image
and select "User input" for input on the control unit.
Input of a start value at the control unit:
If a print image containing a counter field is selected, the request to enter the counter
start value appears in the display after confirming the print image selection; this is done
by tapping on the displayed keypad. Then enter the desired start value and confirm with
the Enter key .
The arrow symbols can be used to jump back and forth between the individual
positions in the variable text.
The delete key deletes the previous digit.
With the Enter key the counter start value is confirmed and inserted into the print
screen.
