6.11 Dispensing with the steam wand
• Immerse the steam nozzle in the
liquid to be heated;
• Rotate the valve knob anticlock-
wise;
• The quantity of steam will be pro-
portional to how much the valve
is open;
• To stop dispensing, turn the valves
knob clockwise.
6.12 Dispensing hot water
• Place the pot
under the hot
water spout
(6);
• turn the water
knob counter-
clockwise
(2);
• to interrupt
steam dispens-
ing turn the wa-
ter knob clock-
wise
(2).
Avoid contact with the hot water nozzle, do not place your hands
or other body parts near the hot water nozzle tips.
7 PROGRAMMING
The machine is programmed by default. Should the
settings need to be modied, proceed as described in
the following paragraphs.
7.1 Coee doses
• Always programme the right
push-button panel first. This
way, both push-button panels
are automatically programmed.
If necessary, programme the
left later;
• place the cup under the dis-
pensing spout;
• press the STOP/PROG. button
for at least 5 seconds until the
STOP/PROG. button ashes;
• press the desired dose button,
for example
STOP
PROG.
;
• to conrm the dose, press the
STOP
PROG.
button again ;
• repeat this operation for the
other dose buttons;
• when the programming is com-
plete, press the STOP/PROG.
button until all of the LEDs on
the push-button panel are lit.
The programming of every dose must be carried out with ground
coee and not with previously used coee dregs.
The system automatically exits the programming mode 20 seconds
after the last operation was carried out.
Do not remove the lter holder from the dispensing group when
coee is being dispensed.
Do not insert your ngers or any other objects into the lter holder.
