6.
COMMISSIONING
6.1 Safety precautions
The following residual risks are present during the
commissioning of the machine and cannot be elimi-
nated:
Electrical hazard:
When using the electrical appliance, several safety
standards must be observed:
• do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
or feet;
• do not use the appliance if barefooted;
• do not pull the power cord to disconnect the appli-
ance.
Danger of high temperature:
Some parts of the machine can reach high tempera-
tures:
• avoid contact with the dispensing group and water
spouts;
• do not expose your hands or other body parts to the
coee, steam, or hot water spouts.
6.2 Preparing the lter holder
6.2.1 Filter holder
• In the housing of the lter holder (4) place the spring
to stop the lter (2).
• place the single cup (1) or double cup lter (2) push-
ing it with force into the lter holder.
6.2.2 Spouts
Complete the lter holder by mounting the single
cup (5) or double cup spout (6).

Properly connect the single lter with the single spout and the
double lter with the double spout.
6.3 Coee grinding
To adjust the coarseness of the ground coee, use
the appropriate regulator located on the hopper of the
grinder-dispenser.
6.4 Autosteamer
6.4.1 Temperature adjustment
To program the temperature of the milk to be heated
see par. "8.4 Services tuning" on page 31 .
However, we recommend not to exceed 60° C.
6.4.2 Milk foaming adjustment
For more or less foam, adjust the special regulator (X).
Turning it clockwise will decrease the consistency,
while turning it counter-clockwise will increase it.
