6.4 Lighting (if fitted)
6.4.1 Dispensing compartment
To turn on and turn o the
work compartment lighting,
press the switch (16), which
is located under the com-
mand facade on the right
side.
6.5 Autosteamer (if fitted)
6.5.1 Adjusting the temperature
Adjust the temperature of the milk, as shown on the user
manual.
However, we recommend that this does not exceed 60°C.
6.5.2 Adjusting the milk froth
To adjust the automatic steam wand milk frothing settings,
proceed as follows:
• Remove the right side panel from the machine (A) (see par.
7.3.2 on page 31);
• Turn the screw of the adjustment valve (B):
- To reduce the froth, turn it clockwise;
- To increase the froth, turn it anticlockwise;
• Reposition the side (1) on the machine.

6.6 Turning the machine on and o
During the machine's heating-up phase (which var-
ies depending on the model), the negative pressure
valve will release steam for a few seconds until the
valve closes
.
If the machine is inactive for longer than a week,
the Technician must replace 100% of the water in-
side the hydraulic circuits
.
Before turning the machine on, proceed as follows:
• After the hydraulic and electrical mains have been con-
nected, make sure that the drain tray (4) under the cup
holder grille is correctly connected to the drain.

• Check that all the steam valves are closed.
• Open the water tap of the water mains and the softener.
• Turn the power switch (1) to position “1” (electricity is sup-
plied to the pump to automatically fill up the
appliance's heating unit and steam heating
unit) and wait for the heating unit to be auto-
matically filled with water (see table below).
• Turn the main switch (1) to position “2” (full
electricity is supplied, including to the heat-
ing element in the heating unit) and wait for
the machine to warm up completely.
• Before using the machine, wait a few min-
utes (about 10 min.) Until the pressure gauge
(15) indicates the correct working pressure (1-
1,2 bar).
